The food was outstanding, the service was even better. We thoroughly enjoyed the home made pasta, desert and appetizers. The ambiance was romantic for our girls dinner with a candle lit table but we had a blast! No pictures of the main dishes because they were so good we ate them quickly! Highly recommend the chicken Alfredo and cheese stuffed tort half portion

This cute restaurant is located in the midst of chaos. A typical seattle scene before entering, a couple of crazy guys near the entrance. However the courtyard does a good job in hiding the craziness going on outside the doors. We had a reservation and were seated in the courtyard on a hot summer day, water came right away and our server told us about the specials immediately. He was nice. We had a burrata appetizer and a strawberry salad with two sangrias and two Negronis. Very freshly made. Our entrees were a mixture of chicken/pastas/ and seafood. All were very filling and nicely made. The dessert was okay though. For the price I feel the plates could have been a little bit more delicious. Full transparency on pricing/quantity for 4 guests- 2 appetizers, 4 drinks, 4 entrees, 1 dessert = $300

What a charming setting for a lovely evening, even though my companion happened to be my mother. We were seated in a picturesque outdoor area illuminated by genuine candlelight. Our meal began with a delightful surprise - a perfectly dressed strawberry salad. Simply exquisite! As for our appetizers, we indulged in burrata and bruschetta. The crispy bread paired with the garlic-infused tomatoes created a delightful crunch with every bite. To follow, my mother and I shared the Gorgonzola tortellini. It was accompanied by pine nuts and spinach, striking a perfect balance with the flavorful cheese. A truly delightful dish. This hidden Italian gem in Seattle is a true find. I am already looking forward to my next visit.

The food is wonderful, service is stellar and oh my god the pistachio pasta dish I ordered was to absolutely die for. Hands down the best pasta I have ever had in Seattle, unground dish from the menu and so freaking good. The sauce is wonderful and tastes out of this freaking world. Nothing like it, if you ever go you have to try this. Love this place. Only complaint is it's very hard to get reservations here, but it shows how good they really are. The view is stunning, the vibes are classy and just so fun. Love it here, definitely recommend and definitely try this dish next time you go!

We decided to try this place for my birthday. So happy I chose La Fontana! It was an evening well spent. I wanted to go someplace where we could sit for hours, wining and dining. This fit the bill. We had wanted to sit in the courtyard by the fountain, but we were late due to road closures and traffic diversions. So ended up sitting inside, which wasn't too bad. We got a table in a cozy corner, surrounded by brick walls and candle lit tables. We started with a bottle of wine and a plate of melanzana to share. There was complimentary bread and dip too. The melenzana with the grilled eggplant was delicious! Our waiter popped in from time to time and made sure to fill our glasses to the brim. For the main course we got three pastas for the four of us and all were absolutely fantastic! Tortellini Cefalu - pistachio cream sauce was out of this world. Spaghetti all Siracusana had all the delicious veggies tossed in olive oil. And the fettuccini Alfredo was very comforting. Enjoyed every bit of every bite! For dessert we got the flourless chocolate torte and the most stunning limone sorbetto that came in a nice, huge lemon, just the way you get in Italy! Bonus was the candle on top! They also gave me a card and flowers. A very thoughtful gesture. It was a great evening of bonding with family with the best food in town! Highly recommend La Fontana for special occasions!

Im impressed. I feel like my experience was spot on. Every dish I tried was its own and delicious. Even my server was unique. The interior was special. Small, but not too small. The space is split into 3 different rooms. Dim lighting, but not too dim there's additional lighting and a candle on every table. The back room has a piano. On my visit someone was playing so well we didn't even realize it was live until half way through the dinner. They really provide a great ambiance for a romantic date. Before you even make it inside you have to come in through their enclosed patio dinning area. Unfortunately we didn't get a seat outside but it was still a pleasure kind of hanging out until our table was ready. Our service was appropriate. My favorite part was having a waiter with an actual personally while still providing great service. There when you need him without feeling like someone was interrupting my meal. I also appreciated the free appetizer. It was tasty and god quality bread with Parmesan and vinaigrette. All the food I tried was very tasty. From the appetizer, to my dinner, everyone else's dinner, drinks, dessert. I enjoyed their menu selection. They have a few of the regular dishes, but many dishes you don't find at your average Italian restaurant. My portions were also on point. I didn't leave feeling like I was skimped or like I over paid. The only thing that wasn't fun, finding parking. I finally found a spot about a block away. I also had to walk past a lot of sketchy feeling activity. It didn't take away from my meal but it didn't make me originally question what I was about to get myself into.

This place was on the list of tries for my bestie and I. The restaurant and its surroundings are perfect for a date night, birthday celebration, and or any special occasion. There is indoor dining and outdoor dining, where you will sit in the courtyard. Wasn't bad to sit there on a (somewhat) warm night but keep that in mind with Washington weather; it switched up! Nonetheless, we were pleased with the items ordered. Could've skipped out on the cocktail(s), however, it's about preference in that case. Pros: Great service, food was flavorful, and location really took my breath away. Free bread too, 'cause who doesn't love bread with their pasta. I ordered the garlic bread on the menu, which I loved but bread could've been a little softer. For my entree, I ordered the Risotto ai Funghi and my bestie ordered Fettuccine de Pesto. Flavourful, great portion, and accommodating when it came to dietary restrictions. Cons: Lack of education on veganism. The menu specifically states to ask (your) server for the vegan items and/or menu. When asked, the server proceeded to point out the vegetarian items that were clearly stated in the menu. However, I wanted to know about the VEGAN items. Nonetheless, items can be altered but implying a separate menu with vegan items when there isn't one was unfortunate. Nevertheless, when time permits, I will visit again.

We had heard about this place and after a couple times of not being able to get reservations, we finally decided to make one and go to celebrate my birthday. The staff went above and beyond with their hospitality, even leaving a birthday card with the dessert. It was a nice night, so we opted to eat outside in their courtyard. The fountain definitely created a nice ambience. One thing to note is that there are apartments above the restaurant, so you will see people coming and going if you eat outside. We started with the bruschetta and the calamari al basilico. Both were quite tasty. For mains, I got the spaghetti alla siracusana and my spouse got the tortellini Cefalù. His tortellini were great, but my pasta dish felt like it was missing something - either some seasoning or more of some other ingredient. But not olives, because it had more than enough of those. For dessert, we opted for a cannolo and the peach sorbetto (our server recommended that out of the other sorbetti because they serve it inside the peach and you can eat the peach. The cannolo shell was fantastic and the cream inside was tasty. I liked the sorbetto, but because the peach it was served in was completely frozen, it was a little difficult to eat the peach and a lot of the flavor of the actual peach was lost. Overall, this was a great dinner and a solid, not pretentious restaurant in the middle of the city!

First stop of our trip was dinner at this spot. My cousin found the place on IG and we had to make sure to stop by since it was super close to where we were staying. Walking into the place is a beautiful fountain the pool with tables set up around it. No question, we asked to be seated outside to enjoy the fountain. We had the garlic bread which was perfectly toasted with enough olive oil and garlic. Another appetizer we had was the melanza which is grilled eggplant with fresh mozzarella on top. Simple but delicious! Cousin and I talked about getting the lobster ravioli before coming in and we were happy it was on their special menu tonight. We decided to half the entree. Lobster ravioli was delicious! I would get this again! For dessert we decided to get their homemade tiramisu which was pretty good too. Loved their espresso martini- less on the sweeter side Limoncello sprite was very refreshing. *Note: $2 Split fee (we were charged a split fee for splitting the ravioli)
